My investigations have exposed how period-tracking apps sold women’s data, the mothers being blamed for fabricating their children’s long Covid, online misinformation campaigns propagated by global governments. I’ve reported on Ukrainian surrogate mothers trapped in a war zone. Revealed how climate change traps poor countries in debt. Analysed bitcoin’s dirty carbon footprint. Explored the devastating side-effects of common drugs. Met the Christian witches reformulating faith for the modern age.
I’ve reported from the Amazon rainforest, embedding with volunteer firefighters on one of the world’s fiercest climate frontlines, as well as across Asia, Europe, North America & elsewhere.
I currently report on the BBC World desk, and have previous reporting, editing and subbing experience at The Times, the FT, The i Paper and Business Green. I’ve appeared on Times Radio to chat about my investigations; produced and edited short-form docs; and spearheaded several FT special report series on the circular economy and green innovations.
